As a first step in the admissions process, parents are encouraged to attend a group tour called “A Walk Though the Grades” or to schedule a private tour of the school with the Enrollment Director. New kindergarten parents are required to attend a Saturday morning, “Morning in the Kindergarten” introductory meeting. Once you have come for a tour, please fill out an application online through TADS.
A non-refundable, non-transferrable fee of $75.00 must accompany the application for each student.
When applying for Grades 2 through 8, you will be asked to release copies of school records and obtain a Teacher Recommendation from your child’s current teacher.
Upon receipt of your application, the Enrollment Director or a class teacher will contact you within two days to schedule an interview. All interviews are conducted by a class teacher. For kindergarten applicants, parents and child are interviewed by the kindergarten teachers for placement in one of the two kindergarten classes.
Admission is open to all qualified students regardless of religious, social and racial background. For kindergarten applicants, the parent interview and the observations of the child during this interview assist us in forming a picture regarding admission and placement. For grades 2 through 8, acceptance is based on a review of academic records, personal interviews, teacher recommendations and a school visit. During this visit, the child may have a limited assessment. Faculty members make observations and provide feedback to the class teacher and an admissions decision is then made.
A letter communicating the admissions decision is sent to the parents from the Enrollment Director. The letter may include recommendations to prepare your child to join the class based on the assessment taken during the interview. You will also be sent a link to enroll online through TADS.
All accepted families must complete the TADS Enrollment Questionnaire, sign the Enrollment Contract and the Financial Agreement and pay the Registration Fee prior to admittance to the class.

Grades 1st to 8th: $1,600
2016-17 Supplies Fee (Preschool only):
2 Day Preschool: $250
4 Day Preschool: $500
2 Day Preschool: $3,900
4 Day Preschool: $7,800
Grades 1st to 8th: $12,770
Discounts for second and subsequent children:
Preschool: No discounts apply for either Preschool class.
Grades 1st to 8th: $9,577.50

Any family requesting Financial Adjustment must complete the TADS Enrollment Questionnaire, sign the Enrollment Contract and pay the Registration Fee. Financial Adjustment is determined based upon financial need, available funds and the needs of the school and is only determined after the child has been accepted for enrollment, and all the above forms are complete.
The Final Step
The Administrative Director will contact you to set up a Registration Meeting to finalize registration and at which time you will receive the Parent Handbook and a school roster.
