Social Media Coordinator & Art Teacher
Amy has been working in education for over a decade. Working as a teaching artist for many years in New York City, Amy was always fascinated by Waldorf pedagogy as it encapsulates many of the expanded models for deep learning Amy is inspired by as a teacher and artist. Since moving to Santa Cruz back in 2019 to pursue a doctoral degree at UC Santa Cruz in Film and Digital Media, Amy has worked both in the after care program at SCWS and as the social media liaison. Amy loves to engage with students and teachers and showcasing the ever creative projects that emerge in the classroom to the broader public on social media and the SCWS blog The Magic Meadow
