Woodwork

Bianca Pisano grew up in New York and moved to California in 2007 to study Environmental Studies at UC Santa Barbara. After graduation, she taught environmental education and garden in Santa Barbara for 3 years. In 2016 she went backpacking through Central and South America working on farms and hostels and learning Spanish. After returning to the US she moved to Sonoma County and lived and worked at the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center. There, she learned about woodworking, carpentry, and permaculture as a member of the facilities team. She loves being able to pass on the wonderful art form of woodwork to the students at Santa Cruz Waldorf.

Bianca is also studying to become a psychotherapist at Pacifica Graduate School and looks forward to incorporating the arts into her healing modalities. She loves any activity that gets her moving outside in the forest or the ocean. When she isn’t studying or exploring, Bianca loves to cook for loved ones with the many gifts from the garden.
