Estasia Barrientosi brings in generations of learning from her ancestors. She joined SCWS in 2019, teaching the current class of 2024.
Estasia lived in Hawai’i and taught middle school at Kona Pacific Public Charter School prior to Santa Cruz. Estasia completed her BA of Sociology from California State University, Long Beach, MA in Education from Mount Mary University and Waldorf Certificate from Great Lakes Waldorf Institute. She is a Restorative Justice Circle Keeper and trained as a Mental Health Aid for adolescents. Estasia is part of the Math Committee and the BIPOC affinity group of SCWS and AWSNA. Committed to education, Estasia chooses Waldorf because it engages our whole human experience of learning. She enjoys being with her family and friends, traveling and dancing.
