Katie has been a part of the Santa Cruz Waldorf School community since 2018, where she and her family have two children currently attending. She is particularly grateful for the beautiful community that the school has provided over the years and has come to discover that it is really something special to be cherished. With a passion for entrepreneurship, she previously co-founded a wellness company, gaining valuable experience with organizational vision, strategic operational planning, and optimization. These skills lend to an opportunity for strong community collaboration that help drive clarity and key school objectives. Her advocacy for children is rooted in her background of childhood and adolescent development. She is particularly passionate about creating educational opportunities and raising awareness around neurodiversity, ensuring that all children feel seen, supported, and empowered in their unique learning journeys. In her free time, Katie enjoys interior design, hiking, and mountain biking. She is very grateful for the consideration and opportunity to collaborate and serve the Waldorf school community.
