At large Trustee
Tom is the parent of a 6th grader (Adelaide) and a 1st grader (Evelyn). He has spent the majority of his career in and around schools, teaching environmental education to 5th and 6th grade students in Santa Clara County, middle school science at the Town School for Boys in San Francisco, and, most recently, writing math and science curriculum for IXL Learning and Newsela, both online learning platforms. In each of these roles he has collaborated closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to create impactful educational experiences.
